Papers on the non-human in artistic practices of remembrance accepted to the 10th Annual MSA Conference in Buenos Aires

We are delighted to announce that Fabian Röderer William’s paper “The Plinth as Planter for Public Art. Veronica Ryan’s Proposal for London’s Fourth Plinth” and Winona Pawelzik’s paper “The Perspective of a Stone: Artistic Approaches to Collaborative Memories and Restitution in the Exhibition ‘Moving Mountains’” have been accepted to the 10th Annual Meeting of the Memory Studies Association (“Memory and Democracy”) in Buenos Aires, Argentina (28 July−01 August, 2026). Their papers will be presented in the panel “The negotiation of the Embodied and Non-Human in Artistic Practices of Remembrance.” Further information and the full program will follow once published.
